DIFFERENT GROUPS WILL SHOWCASE THE USEFULNESS OF CERAMICS AT "TRANS/HITOS 2011: CON-FLUENCES"

The TRANS/HITOS 2011 exhibition of Architecture and Interior Design in Ceramics will be held under the slogan CON-FLUENCES, coinciding, as in previous years, with the Cevisama trade show in Valencia, Spain, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture, Bathroom and Kitchen Furnishings, Raw Materials, Glazes, Frits, and Machinery. This seventh consecutive TRANS/HITOS event will be located, once again, on Level 2 of the Centre Mall of the International Valencia Trade Fair from 8 to 11 February 2011.

The H2SHOW bathroom gallery is one of the novelties of Cevisama 2011 which wants to reinforce the presence of the bathroom industry

THE PROJECTS "RESIDENTIAL BUILDING CASP 74" AND "PARKING AVENIDA DE LA LIBERTAD" WIN THE 9th TILE OF SPAIN AWARDS OF ARCHITECTURE AND INTERIOR DESIGN ORGANIZED BY ASCER

The jury of the IXth Tile of Spain Awards of Architecture and Interior Design chaired by the architect Alberto Campo Baeza, held on Wednesday the 24th of November the meeting to give the prizes in each category. The members of the board have unanimously decided to give the First Prize in the Architectural category - with a monetary award of 20,000 Euros- to the project of Bach Arquitectes "Residential Building Casp 74".

CEVISAMA is now on the social networking sites. The relevant links are on our website. These networks are a new tool that enables us to stay in touch with our exhibitors, visitors and specifiers in a more dynamic, interactive way.

As well as the latest news about CEVISAMA, we will also be uploading images and videos of the previous year's fair onto the social networks along with news from our customers. The networks also enable us to publicise the initiatives we will be launching for the next edition of the fair direct to our audience.

THE H2SHOW BATHROOMS GALLERY: CEVISAMA´S NEW PITCH

The upcoming edition of Cevisama is set to stage the H2SHOW project, a special showcase for bathroom manufacturers that are internationally renowned for being design led. The initiative, which is being driven by the Valencia exhibition organisers, rolls out from 8th to 11th February next year and has been exceptionally well received. The event began to be marketed last week and already a dozen leading bathroom companies have confirmed their participation.

LEADING FIRMS OCCUPY MORE SQUARE METRES AND OPT FOR CEVISAMA 2011

Five months before the next edition of Cevisama (International Fair for Architectural Ceramics, Bathroom and Kitchen Equipment, Natural Stone and Raw Materials), Spanish and foreign top brand names have confirmed they will be participating. Leading design and innovation firms will return to this next edition, and many have decided to occupy more square metres for exhibition purposes thanks to the last successful edition.

THE FUTURE AND INTERNATIONALISM CENTRAL TO CEVISAMA 2011 CAMPAIGN CREATIVITY

Cevisama 2011, the International Fair for Ceramic Tile, Natural Stone and Bathrooms, is centring the creativity for its promotional campaign on the future and international visitors. The next edition of the fair takes place from 8th to 11th February and is taking the imagery introduced last year, which uses the human figure, a step further.

International visitors are at the very core of the creativity for the Cevisama 2011 campaign. These are visitors who look for and take on board big ideas, new designs, innovation and the cutting edge in interior design, architecture and public spaces.

79,000 QUALITY VISITORS FLOCK TO CEVISAMA
Hike in number of visitors from Russia, India and Middle East

The 28th Cevisama, which took place at Feria Valencia from 9th to 12th February, pulled in 78,962 quality buyers including 10.946 foreign buyers from 133 countries. The final figures reveal that visitor numbers were 4% down on 2009 but this was compensated for by two factors that were highly valued by exhibitors at this last fair: the quality of the visitors and the innovations introduced into this year's showcase.

BATH CUBE WINS CEVISAMA BATHROOM DESIGN COMPETITION

"Bath Cube", the design entered by Fernando Muñoz Cebrián, a student a the Escuela Superior de Gestión de la Edificación (School of Construction Management) at the PUV, has won the International Bathroom Equipment Design and Technological Innovation Competition organised by CEVISAMA. Cebrián wins 2,500 euros.

The competition rules set a theme for the entries, which was "Open source bathroom".
