The 37th edition of Cevisama is slated to take place from 28th January to 1st February 2019 at Feria Valencia. The management and the sales and marketing teams have already set out the strategies for the upcoming fair, which are designed to keep both the supply and the demand sides of the event growing whilst further boosting its international profile. The strategy embraces loyalty schemes for exhibitors at Cevisama 2018 and recruiting new exhibitors from countries such as Italy, Portugal, Turkey and Poland, taking advantage of the fact that the Spanish market is recovering and the fair has seen continued growth over the last few years, making it an increasingly attractive showcase for foreign companies.
On the demand side, Cevisama will be launching a weighty campaign targeted at buyers that will aim to attract as much purchasing power as possible from across the board as well as all the major retail groups and specifiers – decorators and architects – from all over the world. Other features that will appeal to professionals include a programme of top-level presentations by some of the grand masters of architecture and interior design and a number of other activities, which will be staged both at the exhibition venue and in the city of Valencia itself.
The figures for the last edition of Cevisama are one of the best proofs of the fair’s success and an incentive for us to continue to drive growth and offer our customers even better service. The last international ceramic tile and bathroom equipment fair attracted 90,572 professionals from 140 countries, the second-best result ever. The international nature of the fair was reflected clearly in the number of foreign buyers who attended: 17,651, from all over the world – an historical record for the third year running. Also, and in response to constant demand from exhibitors, mostly Spanish and Italian, the fair had to increase the number of exhibition halls from eight to ten. The result was a top drawer showcase that excited and surprised visitors, who had the opportunity to listen to world-class architects and Contract experts such as Pitzker Prize winners Rafael Moneo and Eduardo Souto de Moura.
