This year’s Trans/Hitos 2019 Exhibition will have as its slogan: “Ágora”. The exhibition, which focuses on architecture and design projects whose main motive is the innovative use of ceramics, is promoted by Cevisama and will be held during this international competition – from 28 January to 1 February- at Feria Valencia.
According to the organization: “in this edition the slogan Ágora is born with the intention of consolidating the exhibition as a space for meeting and discussion, with the aim of creating new opportunities for ceramic design, as well as promoting various approaches and technical possibilities for the sector.
And they add: “this year we will have a collaboration with the Graduate School of Design of Harvard University (USA) as has happened in previous years: the proposal for 2019 is a post-stressed ceramic structure, made up of three arches that are connected by poles in order to control buckling or elastic instability, and the deviation of the structure as a whole”.
They will also be part of Trans/Hitos 2019: Ágora the project of Nihil Estudio “House of Cards”, winner of the competition organised by CEVISAMA, ASCER and ITC; in addition to the existing spaces dedicated to the winners of the TILE OF SPAIN AWARDS OF ARCHITECTURE AND INTERIOR DESIGN and to the projects of the students of the Ceramic Tile Studies Department, both initiatives promoted by ASCER.
Trans/Hitos Ceramics for Architecture Exhibition and Interior Design is held at the CEVISAMA trade fair, which coincides with this event, promoted by CEVISAMA’s own organisation with the support of ASCER and the design and execution by the ITC.
