To facilitate the arrival at the fair, from Cevisama we have developed access routes to the fairgrounds. Please follow the instructions on this map, which explains in an easy and convenient way all the route you must travel, from its origin to the same parking lot of your vehicle at the fair, whether paid or free. - How do I get a visa to travel to Feria Valencia?
Exhibitors/visitors requiring an invitation letter in order to obtain a Visa should complete the form that is available by clicking here: “Invitation letter” Cevisama will use the details to generate a document that you should print and present to the Spanish Embassy in your country of origin together with all other necessary documents. BEFORE THE EVENT: To obtain more information about the services described above or for anything else you may need, please contact the manager of the fair in question. They will advise regarding procedures, deadlines for applications and all other matters that may be relevant.
DURING THE EVENT: Should you need to resolve any issue relating to services booked, you should contact the event direct at firstname.lastname@example.org. Before the fair opens you will receive a letter with a list of telephone numbers you can call, where the team will be able to answer any queries you may have.
What are the benefits of attending a fair at Feria Valencia as a visitor?
You will be able to gather a huge amount of information of all sorts in a very short space of time, which will give you an overview of the market. How can I achieve the best outcomes from making the trip to Feria Valencia?
STAGE 1: Approximately three/four months in advance, set out what your objectives are. Gather information about the fair: ask the event manager for details of the sectors of industry being represented at the event, exhibitors, parallel events and so on, and for a copy of the visitor leaflet. Plan your trip; book accommodation. Decide what means of transport you want to take and make the relevant bookings. STAGE 2: Approximately two months ahead, draw up a daily plan: set up a schedule for contacting exhibitors at the fair. Decide how much time you want to devote to other activities: other commercial visits, touring the different halls to see new products and suppliers, find out what is on offer and what the trends are, attending parallel events. Draw up a questionnaire that will serve as a script for your meetings with exhibitors – you can use it to jot down important information. Book any translating and interpreting services you may need if you do not speak the languages of the exhibitors you will be meeting.
STAGE 3: About one month before the fair, contact the exhibitors to set up your meetings. Check you have received invitations you expected to receive (if not, request them). Create contact record cards or forms: company name, name of the person you spoke with, location within Feria Valencia (Hall and stand numbers), time of the meeting, etc. Register, if necessary, for any of the parallel events your company is interested in.
STAGE 4: After the fair: Contact all potential new suppliers that are of interest. Review the information you have collected and compare the various alternatives offered by the different suppliers. Assess the results.
How do you fulfil your expectations as a visitor to a trade fair?
In order to assess the value of having visited a trade fair you need to reflect on a number of points that help provide an accurate assessment of the results obtained and that will enable you to take corrective measures ahead of future fairs. Visiting a trade fair should not be left to chance. You should set specific objectives and plan your visit well in advance. Visiting a fair does not necessarily deliver immediate results; the benefits of attending also become apparent in the medium and long term. Prioritise your meetings: if you need to visit exhibitors in order of interest, it is very important that you plan in advance how much time you will spend with each of them. It is useful to take notes about the products and their features – price, payment method, guarantees, technical support etc. – in order to be able to evaluate the various options later. It is advisable to attend the parallel events (seminars, workshops, congresses etc.) and product presentations to get up to speed with the latest trends and developments in the industry. You need to make a general assessment of the results based on all the benefits of having attended the fair. As well as orders placed, other, added value aspects need to be borne in mind such as ideas you have had that can be applied to your business, the opinions that have been shared and the contacts made at the fair, having seen the products ‘in the flesh’ as it were, having seen new products etc.
