When Cevisama comes around from 28 th January to 1 st February next year, it will be hosting a much broader and more attractive offering. Following the repeated success of the last few years, the international exhibition has decided to grow, by enhancing its already high-quality content and drawing an audience with links to the Contract channel – in particular architects, interior designers, designers and property developers.
The organizers have to this end put an ambitious initiative in place, based in a new pavilion, that will be an add-on to the traditional show whilst aspiring to become an international meeting point in its own right, not just for major international distributors
but also for specifiers from all over the world.
The new pavilion, Feria Valencia’s Pavilion 6, will be very carefully styled in terms of design and interior design so that it is in line with the level of visitors that is expected. In fact, some of the foremost names in the world of ceramic tiles and bathrooms, including TAU, Laminam, ABK Group, Poalgi, Nova Mapini and Portuguese firms Love Tile and Margres, which are part of the Panaria group, have decided to back this drive for growth and have already confirmed that they will be exhibiting in the new pavilion. A number of major operators in the natural stone sector have also confirmed that they will be exhibiting, on group stands.
The entrance to the pavilion will feature an exciting new departure in terms of exhibits: a replica tunnel that will lead visitors towards the latest trends in materials and products. Pavilion 6 has its own direct access from Feria Valencia’s main entrance, the North Forum (Foro Norte), which also has a dedicated bus stop, for both the public transport and the private coaches that provide a shuttle service for visitors staying at a number of hotels in the city of Valencia and suburbs.
There will be several business and lounge areas distributed across the pavilion to promote networking and make it easier for people to have meetings. Also, Feria Valencia’s Function Room (Salón de Actos) is right next to pavilion 6 and is the venue for the CevisamaLab Architecture Forum sessions which, following the success of last year’s Forum, will again include celebrated international architects amongst the speakers.
An additional attraction is that the Espacio Cocina-SICI show will be taking place on the upper level of Pavilion 6 at the same time as Cevisama. The joint offering is sure to prompt distributors and, especially, specifiers to attend. Espacio Cocina-SICI will be showcasing the very latest in kitchen furniture, accessories and equipment. The fact that it runs simultaneously with Cevisama will boost the synergies that already exist between the various ceramic tile, bathroom and kitchen industries and the fairs’ visitor profile of specifiers, installers, interior designers and decorators.
