Hall 4 on Level 2 set to host another PROALSO Tile Installers Conference, centred again on latest techniques for wall and floor tile installers.
2025 also features sessions on installing ceramic tiles for students from all over Spain on Vocational (Grado Medio) Indoor Construction, Decoration and Renovation courses
Valencia, 21th January 2025.- Cevisama 2025 is to reprise its role as the setting for installation, construction and renovation professiopnals to learn and find out more, at first hand, about the latest trends and innovations relating to installing ceramic tiles. In this regard the upcoming edition of the fair, which runs from 24th to 28th February at Feria Valencia, will be hosting another PROALSO Tile Insatallers Conference. This year it will also be staging a Conference for students on Vocational (Grado Medio) Indoor Construction, Decoration and Renovation courses specialising in Interior Construction, Decoration and Renovation.
Both conferences will take place in Cevisama’s Machinery and Technology Hall, Hall 4 on Level 2 (Feria Valencia), at the heart of the innovative materials and processes section of the ceramic tile and bathroom equipment show.
24 editions of the PROALSO conference
The Floor and Wall Tile Installers Trade Association has been staging the Installers Conference since 2000 and it is a firm fixture on Cevisama’s programme of events. The conference includes live tile installation demonstrations to highlight just how skilled floor and wall tile installers are, whilst underscoring how important it is to use a professional so that tiles are installed correctly.
The conference aims on the one hand, to show visitors the main trends in ceramic tile installation, materials, accessories, equipment and machinery, in partnership with PROALSO’s sponsors and on the other, to illustrate the processes and requirements involved in installing tiles as described in the UNE138002 Standard.
PROALSO is promoting the 24th Tile Installers Conference as the best showcase for driving quality in the installation of ceramic tiles. It is also endorsing the importance of the installer’s trade and underscoring the key role trained, experienced, professional floor and wall tile installers have to play in responding to the challenges 21st century ceramic tiles are facing.
It should be remembered that PROALSO supports regulation of the trade whilst encouraging members to adapt to the new technologies for installing increasingly complex ceramic coverings as a way of improving competitiveness and the quality of finishes on ceramic coverings.
Sudents conference
For the first time ever, this edition of Cevisama is also set to feature an event specifically geared to educating young profesional installers: a conference that will bring together students from all over the country who are taking Vocational Indoor Construction, Decoration and Renovation courses. At the Cevisama conference, they will be able to put into practice what they have learned in the tile installation module.
The students attending the conference will be coming from education centres in Vera (Almería), Guadalajara, Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), Lleida, Plasencia (Cáceres), Xàtiva (València) and Logroño (La Rioja).
Innovations in installing ceramic products
The techniques for installing ceramic products have evoilved significantly in recent years, adapting to the new trends, formats and market demands. This kind of initiative means that Cevisama becomes both a meeting point and a focal point where innovations and advances in products and processes can be checked out in situ: levelling systems, dry installation, double-buttering, new precisión tools, technical grouting and installing on 3D surfaces.
