Cevisama set for most Euro-centric show ever with offering almost exclusively ‘Made in Europe’

96% of exhibitors from countries in Europe, in show of support for quality and prestige of ‘Made in Europe’ ceramic tiles and bathroom equipment.

400+ manufacturers and brands exhibiting at Feria Valencia next week mainly from Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Valencia, 18th February 2025.- The most European showcase ever. The upcoming edition of Cevisama, which takes place in barely a week, from 24th to 28th February at Feria Valencia, will have one common denominator: the companies and brands on show are almost exclusively from the European Union. In fact, of the 400-odd companies and brands exhibiting at Cevisama 2025, as many as 96% are from the continent of Europe.

The Feria Valencia event’s move to focus on European companies is completely aligned with the Spanish industry’s strategy to boost ‘Made in Europe’ and the quality and solvency of European manufacturing versus unfair competition from other markets such as Asia.

Spain, Italy and Portugal head the ranking of exhibitors

Of all the countries the exhibitors at Cevisama come from Spain, which accounts for 73% of the total, stands in first place in the ranking, with exhibitors from the province of Castellón accounting for 51% of all Spanish exhibitors. The second and third biggest cohorts of companies come from Italy and Portugal, which account for 13% and 5% of all exhibitors respectively.

Completing the Cevisama showcase’s ranking of nationalities are companies from Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Sweden and Ukraine. In terms of products from outside the European Union, Cevisama will be featuring offerings from an Algerian ceramic tile producer, a Chinese manufacturer of bathroom accessories, a Palestinian natural stone supplier and suppliers of tools and accessories for construction from Brazil and Turkey.

By segment of industry, ceramic tiles will again be the biggest presence at Cevisama – 44% of the total offering – whilst the rest will comprise exhibitors of bathroom furniture and equipment, technology and machinery for the ceramic tile manufacturing industry and construction materials, amongst others.

For fair director Carmen Álvarez, “Cevisama is firmly committed to showing the latest products that are coming onto the market and the innovations being made, but all from the perspective of sustainability and, most of all, the quality implicit in

 ‘Made in Europe’”. As Álvarez explains, “Cevisama is fully aligned with the industry strategy adopted by entities such as Ascer, to promote our output against that of the competition, especially that from Asian manufacturers, which do not play by the same rules as European manufacturers do”.

What is Cevisama?

Cevisama is the foremost international trade fair for the ceramic wall and floor tile, bathroom equipment, natural stone, machinery, glazes, frits, tints and colours for ceramic tiles industries and one of Spain’s major trade events. The last edition of the fair brought together more than 70,000 visitors, 28% of whom came from 156 different countries, representing major buying groups, distributors, retailers, wholesalers, specifiers (architects, interior designers, decorators and designers) and construction professionals.
