Cevisama’s organizers are putting the finishing touches to what is poised to be the best edition of recent years. Set to run from 5th to 9th February at Feria Valencia, this year’s fair has grown in terms of both content and quality and as regards not just the showcase itself but also the programme of parallel events. Everything points to this being a record edition and the countdown to opening day has already begun.
The official stand build-up period started today in fact, in all ten pavilions that the fair will be occupying – two more than last year – and involving thousands of workers who, over the next three weeks, will be building exhibition spaces that match the top-level quality of a set of products that have become central to the latest trends in interior design: ceramic floor and wall tiles and bathroom furnishings.
Also on show at Cevisama 2018 will be the very latest in glazes, frits and colours for ceramic, raw materials, natural stone, materials and tools as well as machinery for ceramic tile manufacturing, a sector that is included every two years.
As Cevisama’s president Manuel Rubert explains, “we will be revealing final figures very soon but the data we have indicate that there has been growth in every sector and that we will have more than 800 companies and brands exhibiting.” In his opinion, “Cevisama 2018 could be an historic edition in that the numbers on both the supply and the demand side of the show will exceed those for 2017, which were in themselves very positive.”
Because of the increase in the number of pavilions being used, Cevisama will this year have two entrances: the Foro Centro – which has been the entrance for the last few years – and the Foro Norte, which provides direct access to pavilions 6b – ceramic tiles and bathrooms – and 6 – machinery for manufacturing ceramic tiles. The ten Cevisama pavilions at Feria Valencia are inter-connected anyway and visitors will also be able to gain entry to the other fairs that are being held at the same time – from 6th to 9th February – at Feria Valencia: FIMMA and Maderalia, which showcase products and machinery for the timber industry and interior design solutions in wood.
