• Jury also awards special mentions to Durstone and Ferro Spain

Tile manufacturer Newker has been awarded First Prize in the Best Stand Interior Design competition at Cevisama 2018, an accolade introduced by Cevisama in collaboration with the Comunidad Valenciana Guild of Designers (CDICV)
Smalticeram España and Natucer have won second and third prize respectively and the jury has also decided to award two special mentions – to manufacturers Durstone and Ferro Spain.
The competition was judged by an independent jury of professionals, comprised of interior designer Manuel Espejo, designer and specialist journalist Marcelo Leslabay and Vicente Montañana, also an expert in design and interior design. It was coordinated and supervised by the CDICV.
The awards ceremony took place this afternoon in the Joaquín Rodrigo room at Feria Valencia. During the event, tribute was paid to Valencian interior designer Vicente Navarro for his career in the field of interior design that spans more than 40 years. Navarro’s accolade was presented by Manuel Rubert, president of Cevisama, and eminent product designer Vicent Martínez spoke movingly about Navarro, highlighting his professional career.
