Cevisama is still working on the preparations for the upcoming edition of the fair, which takes place from 20th to 24th February at Feria Valencia and is expected to be bigger than ever in terms of both content and the number of professionals set to visit. As part of this work, the fair organisers have boosted their Promotional Plan by introducing new sales and marketing initiatives both in Spain and in countries that the fair’s Organising Committee has identified as priority international markets.
Also, new commercial deals have been struck with a number of ICEX’s offices overseas to ensure that large groups of buyers and specifiers attend Cevisama, especially from markets that have been developing more strongly in recent months and are primarily looking for top quality products.
The result of all this work is that, with five months still to go before the fair opens its doors, exhibitors have already booked almost the same amount of space as last year. As for visitors, major retailers and distributors, construction materials businesses and property developers in the United States, France and Germany – three key markets for Spain’s ceramic tile industry – have already confirmed that they will be visiting.
Over these last few months of the year the overseas promotion plan will be given an extra boost so as to ensure that quality buyers from the various markets attend. According to the fair’s managers, the outlook for the 2017 show is excellent.
