Huge foreign buyer programme

For this edition of the fair, Cevisama has quadrupled the number of foreign buyers set to attend. What this means is that not only Spain’s full purchasing power but also a substantial representation of overseas purchasing power will be attending the event.

Saint Gobain, Richardson, the Leclerc group, Leroy Merlin France and French group Gedimat. German companies including BDB (Bundesverband Dutscher Baustoff-fachhandel), Köbig, Nerlich & Lesser, Taxis and Stark Group will also be there.

Other visitors to Cevisama include the Belgian Federation of construction materials and the UK’s construction materials trade association, along with British companies Al-murad Tiles, The Tile Company, Tapis Tiles, Craven Dunnill&Co and Canadian distributors Olimpia Tile, Tiles Inspired and Sarana Tiles.

“Thanks to a substantial effort by Feria Valencia and support from the Conselleria de Economía Sostenible (Ministry for Sustainable Economy), we have invited more than 3000 companies and have received confirmations from more than 1200 Spanish and foreign companies”, the fair’s director reveals.

An excellent cultural programme

Cevisama also features a spectacular programme that will address the industry’s hottest issues of the moment: sustainability, design, innovation, industrialised construction and technology will all be under the spotlight from Monday onwards at Feria Valencia.

New additions to the fair are also being launched such as Cevisama Build and The New Arquitectonics, whilst some that were particularly successful in previous years are being brought back, such as Cevisama Trends, showcasing the best of design, and CevisamaLab, the fair’s ideas laboratory, which will include its prestigious Architecture Forum, with speakers including the top architects of the moment: Francis Kéré, David Chipperfield and Anne Lacaton.
